Job description

  • Shapes and drives talent management programs that are aligned with the overall People strategy while targeting the specific talent needs of the market/functions. Leads the building the talent pipeline for future leaders, manages succession management process and follow-on action planning for the region Americas, covering Sales & Marketing as well as Operations ( Supply Chain, Manufacturing);
  • Lead the quarterly workforce planning (WP) process in collaboration with internal stakeholders ranging from the business Total FTE base (400 FTE);
  • Act as a driver for strategic support on all HR-related initiatives and operational efficiencies and participate/lead projects or process improvement initiatives. Serve as change leader/coach to ensure support for implementation occurs;
  • Deliver high quality, timely and cost-effective people services to the business/market/function;
  • Responsible for building HR capability that embodies our culture across the region;
  • Represents the region in the HR leadership team;
  • Ensure the country HR teams are organized consistently, optimized and have the capability to execute the business, market, function and people strategy within the regional HR teams;
  • Coach, develop and manage the performance and build the capability of the HR talent in your team (5 director reports);
  • Manage the budget of the region in partnership with the COEs;
  • Provide regional input/ feedback into the design of global policies and programs; highlight specific regional requirements to the COEs; deploy within the region;
  • In the lead with labor authorities, Trade Unions and Works Councils supported by local HRM where relevant.
  • Proactively analyze and identify complex people issues, data, and trends to drive change. Recommend appropriate actions;
  • Perform organizational effectiveness analysis and utilize that data to drive change;
  • Ability to communicate with conviction, clearly and effectively with proven listening skills. Ability to lead and facilitate crucial conversations a must;
  • Ability to manage confidential information and act with integrity and discretion.

Requirement Profile – Knowledge, Skills & Experiences

  • Experience with a blend of business partnering and talent management/development focus, including organizational design/effectiveness, team building, performance management, career coaching and leadership development;
  • Global experience desired; Consumer products industry highly (advantage);
  • Strong organization, planning and project management skills, ability to prioritize tasks for both self and team to meet business requirements and deadlines;
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.
